About

A boutique built around
a simple observation.

The observation

Building a product and building a market are two different challenges.

The companies that succeed in Spain are not always the ones with the best technology.

They are the ones that understand how trust is built, how partnerships are formed and how adoption happens locally.

CADELO Advisory was created to help bridge that gap.

Carmen

Founder-led, always.

CADELO Advisory was founded by Carmen Aparicio after more than fifteen years working across Spain’s media, technology and digital advertising ecosystem, building partnerships and driving commercial growth.

Over the years, one pattern kept repeating itself. Strong propositions rarely struggled because of their core offer alone. More often, the challenge was getting the market to understand them, prioritise them and ultimately adopt them.

That experience shaped CADELO Advisory.

Carmen’s approach also draws on formal training in executive and team coaching and systemic leadership.

This perspective is particularly valuable when market-entry decisions involve more than market potential: competing leadership priorities, HQ-local alignment, unclear ownership, organisational resistance or difficult strategic trade-offs.

CADELO applies this thinking to business decisions, combining commercial judgement, market intelligence and systemic perspective to help leadership teams understand not only what the market requires, but what the organisation needs in order to respond.

Today, the business helps international companies shorten that learning curve — understanding the market faster, building the right partnerships sooner and avoiding months of unnecessary trial and error.

Every engagement is personally led by the founder.

No layers.

No junior teams.

No handoffs.

Principles

Four lines we don’t cross.

I.

Independence

No referral fees, no kickbacks, no platform allegiances. Our only obligation is to the client in the room.
II.

Boutique by design

A small number of engagements per year. The founder is on every call.

III.

Quiet confidence

We don’t announce our work. We do it. Our best case studies live in our clients’ revenue, not our portfolio.

IV.

Local understanding

We live where we operate. The relationships are real. The conversations are current. The context is first-hand.

Why Spain

A market built
on
relationships.

Spain is a market where relationships, trust and local context continue to play an important role in commercial growth.

Success rarely depends on the proposition alone. It also depends on trust, local relevance, timing and the ability to build the right partnerships.

It depends on trust, local relevance, timing and the ability to build the right partnerships.

That is where CADELO Advisory focuses its work.

How we work

Close, personal, and always founder-led.

Every client works directly with Carmen. Every conversation is first-hand.

CADELO Advisory is built around a small number of engagements each year, so that each one receives the attention it needs.

Market
Demand, competition, buyers, ecosystem and timing.

Commercial
Positioning, GTM, partnerships, pricing and route to market.

Organisation
Leadership alignment, decision ownership, resources and ability to execute.

Because a market-entry strategy only works when the market opportunity and the organisation behind it are aligned.

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need a local team before entering Spain?

Not necessarily. Many companies start by validating the opportunity and building relationships before hiring locally.

How long does a typical engagement last?

It depends on the objective. Some projects focus on market assessment, while others involve ongoing support for market development and partnerships.

What types of companies do you usually support?

We work primarily with international technology, media and digital businesses evaluating entry into Spain or looking to accelerate local growth. Our deepest experience sits across AdTech, MarTech, Media Technology, Retail Media, data and the broader digital ecosystem.
